Polar bears are not endangered, but they are vulnerable. Polar bears can wheigh up to 1300 pounds and can grow up to 9 feet. They spend most of their time hunting for food, but it is rare that their hunts are successful. There are about 20000 to 25000 polar bears left in the Artic.
